저는 김균형입니다. 현재 미국 플로리다 올랜도 지역에 살고 있습니다. 2015년 미국에 온 이후 죽 뉴욕 뉴저지 지역에 살다가 2026sus 초 이곳으로 이사를 왔습니다. 제가 하는 일이 모두 온라인으로 가능하기 때문에 어느 곳에 사는가는 크게 중요하지 않았기 때문입니다.
일단 제가 현재 하는 일은 모기지 론 오피서입니다. 그렇죠. 집을 살 때 혹은 집을 담보로 대출할 때 만나는 그 론 오피서입니다. 이 일은 2022년부터 하고 있습니다. 현재 뉴욕 뉴저지 조지아 플로리다 지역을 상담하고 있습니다. 제가 일하는 렌더는 미국 49개주를 커버하는 렌더입니다. 브로커가 아니라 렌더이기 때문에 일이 다 회사 내에서 돌아가다 보니 상대적으로 쉽고 빠릅니다.
저는 동시에 관광 가이드도 하고 있습니다. 이쪽으로 오면서 올해는 쉬고 있지만 여름부터 가을까지는 가이드도 하고 있습니다. 기본은 뉴욕부터 워싱턴 나이아가라를거쳐 퀘벡까지 돌아오는 3,000km 코스입니다. 이 코스를 안내합니다.
저는 또 연극 뮤지컬 등을 쓰고 연출합니다. 사실 이게 저의 원래 전공입니다. 저는 한양대학교에서 연극을 전공했고 이후 프랑스 파리3대학 연극원에서 연극학 박사 학위를 받고 한국에 돌아가 15년간 대학교수로 근무했습니다. 그때 20편 정도의 연극과 뮤지컬을 연출했고 15편 정도의 대본도 썼습니다. 미국에 온 이후에도 몇몇 작업에 참여했습니다. 제가 어떤 작업을 했는지 등은 제 이력서를 보시면 될 것이고, 앞으로도 기회가 생긴다면 당연히 연극 뮤지컬 작업을 할 것입니다.
My name is Balance (Gyunhyeong) Kim. I live in the Orlando area in Florida, USA. I had lived in the New York and New Jersey area since moving to the US in 2015, and recently relocated here in early 2026. Since my work is fully remote, my physical location does not limit my professional activities.
First and foremost, I am a Mortgage Loan Officer. I help clients navigate the process when they purchase a home or secure a mortgage using their property as collateral. I have been in this role since 2022, currently serving clients across New York, New Jersey, Florida, and Georgia. Because I work for a direct lender, GMCC Loan, that covers 49 states—rather than acting as a broker—our entire process is handled in-house, making transactions exceptionally fast and seamless.
At the same time, I work as a tour guide. I typically guide Korean travelers from March to October, though moving to Florida has made this year a bit of a sabbatical. The primary itinerary I lead is a massive 3,000 km journey spanning from New York to Washington D.C., Niagara Falls, and up to Quebec.
I am also a playwright and theatre/musical director, which has been my lifelong passion and core discipline. I majored in Theatre at Hanyang University, earned my PhD from the Institute of Theatre Studies at the University of Paris III (Sorbonne Nouvelle), and subsequently served as a university professor in Korea for 15 years. Over my career, I have directed around 20 plays and musicals and written about 15 scripts. Since relocating to the US, I have continued to collaborate on various theatrical projects.
